He’s probably having his first jailhouse meal of many for the next 3-10 years. Judge said no bail to await appeals, straight to jail. Since the sentence is over two years he will be going to a state prison.

Maybe not. But I hope he makes it to his last day of incarceration.

"America's Dad" my ass. Or HIS ass. WTF did he have to dope them for? With his money and fame? If I had 10% of his M&F I would have been swimming in pu55v. Back in the day of course. When he did it. What's wrong with him? Now he'll be enjoying the fruits of his new pal BUBBA. Or the other way round. I should send him a case of bars of soap.

I think many good men are ruined by fame and fortune.
AND the almighty pudenda. (Which can be a lot of good wholesome fun, but no reason to let it control your life, get obsessive/compulsive about it, and become a criminal.)
As Groucho Marx said..... (and got sued for).... I like my cigar too, but I take it out once in a while (to a woman with 17 children).

I wouldn't be surprised to see Cosby released after minimum term (if he makes it that long).

If you believe that, you probably believe Arnold Palmer's wife sued Johnny Carson for accusing her of making Arnold's putter flutter. Sorry for the hijack.

If you believe that, you probably believe Arnold Palmer's wife sued Johnny Carson for accusing her of making Arnold's putter flutter. Sorry for the hijack. I thought that was the one where she told Johnny she kissed his balls to give him good luck on the golf tour, and Johnny replied ... I bet that gives him a stiff putter. I seem to recall each of the Tonight show (and You Bet Your Life) hosts got sued (at least once) for a famous funny statement. (up until Johnny) I'll tell a true story that happened to me. I'm TDY (temporarily) in Spain prosecuting a court martial vior dire jury selection and notice a unit commander in the panel who just came from my home base, and who I had done a lot of legal business with back home. Do you remember me Col? Sure do captain. Would that influence you in any way positive or negative sir? No it would not.Now the kicker; the chief witness for the prosecution was a drop dead gorgeous woman with gynormous hooters who every trial participant knew about and greatly admired (quietly). So I ask this same Col, do you know Ms Hooters? Yes I do captain. Well sir, just how well do you know her? There was an outburst of laughter in the courtroom (apparently, everyone knew Ms Hooters), the judge bangs the gavel, and the (married) Col gives me the I'll strangle you stare. I didn't do it on purpose, I didn't even think about it, it just slipped out of my stupid mouth. Gynormous hooters have often had this effect on me. Sorry sir, let me rephrase that........ What more is there to say about Bill Cosby? Goodbye, and good luck. Or, you reap what you sew.

In the world of things not being equal, as always, I'll say this. I sincerely doubt that Bill Cosby's time in prison will be at all tough. Money and fame always seem to change the way people are treated.
Also, as I was flipping through the channels earlier, I see that Oprah's channel still plays the Cosby show regularly. What I did not see, nor will I see, was any network showing the Dukes of Hazard or Roseanne. Funny how people are only outraged in one direction.

Does anyone other than me notice that all the Cos-the-rapist stuff was never mentioned back in the day when he was apparently doing it, but only came up AFTER he started publicly telling the young black hoodlums to "Pull Up Your Pants".
The media looks the other way on a lot of things, but ONLY if you support their agenda. Speak out against it, and ANY fault they can find will be used against you.

Seems a light sentence, but I suppose that's because it's for just ONE person out of dozens of accusers. Should only take one more trial to put him away for life. He already avoided paying for his actions during the prime of his life, so he's kind of beat justice no matter what happens now.

If he doesn't it will be solely because of health reasons. I just don't believe that the general population will be that unkind to him. And that's assuming that he even winds up in Gen Pop.

I've brought this up before JB and there were crickets. he was publicly speaking against the demo agenda of blaming the white man for the black man's problems, in essence the dems with the news media pushing for race riots. Mr cosby was speaking up. and then they went after him, things many including themselves were doing back then. such as this guy https://rightwingnews.com/democrats/breaking-democrat-senator-caught-paying-off-sexual-harassment-accuser-27k-taxpayer-dollars-video/for the @#$%^ on this board, I'm not saying what Mr Cosby did was right in fact it was very wrong, just addressing the hypocrisy and the dems agenda.

While his criminal punishment may seem light, it just opened the doors and windows for civil suits which may out live him.
The guy is going to end up with nothing when it’s time to get out of jail, he may need to stay in jail just to have a place to call home and get mail.
