I think she will have as much appeal as Hilliary without the deep pockets. The Democratic primaries should be a free for all unless Michelle decides to run.

Has there ever been a doubt that she was going to run?  Hope she does, she's "Hillary Lite".  ;)

There's a guy named Shiva that's running against her in November. Believe he is from India, because he has billboards all over her hometown  that state, "Only a real Indian can beat a fake Indian".
Needless to say, she sued for their removal.

Turns out not what or where,
but who you ride with really matters

I'd love to see a national tv campaign with that billboard ;D

Should read Pocahontas for president, either way vomit time.

Be careful.  Remember that half the voting population supported Hillary Clinton.  The Conservative's fight was not over with Donald Trump's election.  Remember that our country still hangs in a very precarious balance.

I fully understand the peril we are in, my thought is Elizabeth Warren considering a run doesn't concern me too much because I believe the field just for the primary will be as crowded as the last Republican primary. I don't think she will be the only woman in the hunt and I think we can be sure there will be at least one African American in the running. Heaven help us if it turns out to be a black woman, hence my reference to Michelle.

Got it. But I wonder how many people in parts of the country voted for Hilliary because they hated Trump. Or, did they all vote for Bernie?

Nah, Michelle wouldn't have the appeal, we already had the first black guy as president. Second Black guy doesn't count as much.
Yeah Pocahontas for Prez. Elect another lying waste of air. Wouldn't it be fitting if she lost the MidTerm?

Saw Warren for President and thought Strider was running.  He would have won my vote.

I don't have a clue why anyone would consider voting for Bernie with the exception of those who want a free ride.    Though I can understand not voting for HRC.   Everyone has their reasons, what bothers me is that few seem to vote while considering how it will effect future generations.

Eventually, the bills have to be paid.

I have been attempting and mostly succeeding by living within my means. The ONLY reason I make mention of this here to this post I AM on a fixed income. MAYBE just MAYBE the gubmint outa give that a whirl-fixed income living within their means!  :2funny: I know I know-wish in one hand defecate in the other fuller fastest etc etc. RIDE SAFE.

I've heard a lot of people use "living on a fixed income" as a reason/excuse for having to be frugal/deprived. Heck. "living on a fixed income" is not too bad if it's big enough. :cooldude:

f6john

Point well taken. Our former Presidents have to get by on $210,000 a year plus a lot more for office help and other expenses and life time health care at military hospitals. I don't think that I or old2soon was referring to a fixed income that affords a lavish life style. The problem with a fixed income for many is that what seemed adequate in the beginning becomes woefully tight as years pass. I'm on the front end of that equation now we'll have to see how it goes from here.

Here is a link I found that has some interesting info about Presidential retirement and a recent legislative effort that Obama squashed.

And display her native american credentials every time - what a dip-stick.

Just to set the record straight, not everyone in Massachusetts is a liberal. In fact much of the people in the central part of the state are moderate to conservative. It's the coastal areas and the Berkshires that have the liberals. The coastal areas have the population so Massachusetts does skew democratic in most national elections.

As far as calling us the Peoples Republic of Mass, maybe you should come up for a visit see what we've got to offer. We've got very popular Republican Governor who's expected to win re-election in a landslide. We've got a lower total tax burden than some southern states, including North Carolina. It's a pretty nice place. I think you'd like it.

I don't want Warren to run. If she does, I hope she doesn't get the nomination because she can't win the general election. My preference is to nominate a democrat that will beat Trump.  :cooldude: That means the nominee has to be a white man from the south or Texas. I'm Ok with that.

Tony,

Personally, I don't blame all of your state, been there several times and you are right, it's a nice place.  Unfortunately, similar to California, the state is judged by the people they send to represent them.

Tony,
I have spent quiet a bit of time in Mass over the years, so I am no stranger to it or its people.
Was up there several times a year every year for many years working with folks.

It is the politics and the restrictive laws and regulations and the idiots they vote into office that get Mass the PROM name and the laughter.

Most of the folks I worked with disliked the politics/restrictions/etc of Mass as I did.

You folks have my sympathy, but it would be better to reform your political ........................

Patrick

Its kinda that way with NYS and others. In NYS the downstate area and the larger upstate cities are liberal, err, democrat. But, mostly, the upstate area is conservative. The more populated downstate area has the political rule much to our chagrin .
