Sonax ceramic coating

Earlier in the year someone posted their ride, which look great. They had used this liquid ceramic (I think) coating to bring out the shine and protect the paint.

Just watched an episode on powernation, showed a like product called Sonax Profiline Ceramic Coating, and though of the other product that the OP had used. High priced items, both of them, but the Sonax seems to be available locally rather than through the US only.

Does anyone else recall or have the link to that post? I've search, in Gen and Tech, using different words, but no luck.

It might have been me.  I have had both Valkyries and the Goldwing done with ceramic coating along with the Cherokee and the RAM.  Like most things, getting it perfect before the application of the product is key.  I had a professional detailer do a complete clay bar treatment, paint correction and application of the ceramic coating.  I also had him set me up with the rinseless carwash.  Overall this has been a great investment.  Stays cleaner longer.  Easy to clean when needed.  No major hosing off, for prewash nor rinse.  Can do it in the garage.

Thanks Dusty, that was the one and he had just reposted (added) to his post today, and It looked familiar.

Seems the product he used was less expensive too, just need to compare the 2 and their volume. Since I'm too lazy to clean my bike all the time, this product might be nice for me.

edit:
I found this video about the ceramic coatings, in general. It was VERY informative, there are a lot of brands out there, but they are all the same, SiO2. A lot of work before and then also after to get the best results over the longest time.
