yep, rock auto front SUV struts were 75 each vs. same exact thing anywhere else 125 bucks on up, hard to beat that. The sway bar links were 22 bucks each vs. up to 60 bucks elsewhere.
shipping was dirt cheap as well and super fast delivery. going to get them installed this Saturday found a place that will not jack up the labor too much unlike most repair shops.
Also luckily found a cycle shop very local never knew existed that will install a car tire on my cycle for 60 bucks total including full labor doing it all for me, hard to beat that. Most cycle shops will not install a car tire on a cycle.

Auto Zone prices were off the chart. G M O E M light assemblies were a LOT further off the chart. My parts Lady at O'reilly would match Anyone's price EXCEPT Rock Auto. Anywho they are mounted and they work. RIDE SAFE.

Next time you buy from Rock Auto or Advance Auto Parts, visit RetailMeNot on the web. Get a coupon code for 5% off R/A or 25% off coupon code at Advance every time you order online. Not much of R/A but helps take a little sting off shipping. Type or copy the code in the box that says "Where did you here about us" at Rock Auto. Advance has a box for coupon code, so it's not so discreet.
I used the discount at Advance yesterday for a wiper motor & got within 10 bucks of R/A, but it's raining now, so I need it now. Without the 25% off, Rock Auto would have been $35 cheaper.

I tried them for the first time 2 weeks ago. Prices were great, about half of what I'd pay locally. I got everything in 3 days. Some of the items weren't in stock locally, so I would have waited longer. I'll definitely use them again.

Rockauto is great, just watch out when ordering multiple parts. Most times they ship from different locations and the shipping can get up there. Other than that most times they ROCK.

The head light assemblies were WELL packaged from the manufacturer. And R A did NOT skimp when boxing up the pair. And the outer surface of the light assembly had a thick plastic removeable sheet protecting that surface but turned out to be easily removeable. My neighbor used R A for the exhaust manifold needs on his V-6 Ford pickup. He was Very Happy with the money he saved. Hellz bellz-I'm happy with the money I saved! RIDE SAFE.

Yep, noticed that when needed another part for my other car found it at rock auto the cheapest but shipped elsewhere so double shipping made it not worth it to get at rock auto so found part on amazon.com so recently ordered it should hopefully get soon before winter sets in to install some weekend. Amazed me the same front struts were 75 bucks and elsewhere varied from 125 or so on up to 155 near double the price. Weird how markup works....

Rock Auto has been very good to me overall. I've saved a lot of money over the years buying from them. As cookiedough said, Amazon is a player in saving money, too. I'm a Prime member (yes, I know I pay for that), so many things ship for "free". Like I said, I pay for Prime membership, but it's paid for itself many times over.
Back to Rock Auto. If you're buying multiple things, they do try to help you save on shipping. If you have something in the "cart" when you look up another item, any item listed that ships from the same warehouse will have a truck icon right next to the INFO button. If you are flexible on who manufactured the parts you're looking for, you can try to get it all from one warehouse. Saves a good amount in shipping.

I’ve only used Rock Auto one time and was very pleased. I will use them again, but have a concern about if you have a warranty part with them. If something fails on my vehicle that is under warranty and I bought it locally, I can exchange it the same day and get my vehicle back on the road. With Rock Auto, I would have to wait. Their pricing is great if you can wait on the part.

my guess, not sure with rock auto, if the warrantied part fails, rock auto will not do much about it telling you to contact the mfg. since they are the middle man. That was a tough call saving 30 bucks per strut with Rock Auto vs. using 25% discount coupon with Advanced Auto Parts. With Advanced, I can take the strut to local store and get a new one free of charge no questions asked under warranty pretty sure on that. Rock auto, not so. Side note, I got my top front strut bearing mounts, etc. (2 parts) from local Hyundai dealer just today, since rock auto does not carry that part, after telling him EXACTLY what I needed and what engine, etc. my vehicle is even gave the parts dept at local Hyundai dealer last 8 of my vin#. Got home tonight and looked up the part# given to me online and am pretty sure the dealer F'ed up giving me parts for the 2.4L engine sport model vs. 3.3L V6 GLS base model which I have. If this is the case calling tomorrow at 730 a.m. when open, I am taking it all back for 100 bucks charged by Hyundai dealer and telling them to F off will order online for 25 bucks cheaper since I needed the parts by this Saturday have appt. to get struts replaced at repair shop local might have to cancel yet again the appt. for this Saturday. You would think a Hyundai dealer would know their parts????????? guess not, that is why I do not trust nor go to the Hyundai dealer UNLESS UNDER warranty, too expensive and not too smart. UNLESS the hyundai dealer matches online pricing which I doubt they will do, I am giving it all back telling them off since they F'ed up I think. I would normally not be too upset, but the beltline traffic in Madison at 4:45 was backed up 30 minutes to get there stop and go traffic rush hour and will not give them my business twice since I despise traffic jams.
