Check the label to see that it is treated for ground contact...

Nothing making ground contact. But this one corner had plywood sheathingthat extended down below ground level behind a brick veneer and the termites got between the brick and started on the plywood and expanded from there. I has treated plates on top of the concrete blocks and they were untouched. That’s the reason for using cement board as my exterior sheathing and everything else replaced is now treated. I treated for the termites about 10 years ago and they have not returned.
