The migrant caravan marching northbound through Central America is an “elaborately planned” movement that’s benefiting human smugglers and bringing disturbing numbers of violent gang members and other criminal elements through Guatemala, according to government sources in the capital city. “MS-13 gang members have been detained and coyotes (human smugglers) are joining the march with clients who pay to get smuggled into the United States,” a Guatemalan official told Judicial Watch. People from Asian countries waiting to get smuggled into the U.S. through Central America are also integrating with poor Hondurans in the caravan, a high-level Guatemalan government source confirmed. Among them are nationals of Bangladesh, a south Asian Islamic country that’s well known as a recruiting ground for terrorist groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). “There are lots of dirty businesses associated with this,” Guatemalan authorities told Judicial Watch. “There’s lots of human trafficking.”


"It has been a delicate and complicated task, Guatemalan officials say, because the caravan is a very organized movement that has been well orchestrated. There are rest points along the route with food, water and shelter for the migrants as well as medical care in some areas. “It’s very strategic and extremely organized,” a Guatemalan government source told Judicial Watch. I'm guessing the troops are going to have explicit orders to not use deadly force.  No one and especially not Trump, wants this to be another Kent State.  That would be a major political backfire.  I would think tear gas might be the maximum force allowed.

Oss, not a personal question, but what would you do if you were a person caught up in this invasion, with the mentality of this mob, being paid to be a part of this. You see Juan get his head exploded, then several more falling down dead,etc. What would you do?  Run like hell, rush the border thinking you will make it through?  I've read comments on forums from civilians living close to where this is happening. Some have got their rifles ready to take out invaders.  Do these people realize they are about to knock down a hornets nest?   Is this too far fetched to actually be a possibility?   I'm just trying to get in the head of a foreign invader that thinks he has the right to wave his flag, burn ours and come out ahead in this.  Smells to high heaven to me, but of course we already know this, well some do, others seem to have their heads up their asses.

My fear is that someone has thought this out, and has got to get the fireworks started when there is a showdown.   If you think troops don't have live rounds ready to lock and load, you obviously have not been in combat, nor anything resembling what is happening.  The military may not issue bullets and give orders to stand down and use tear gas only, but I will guarantee you, most of those troops have mags loaded, ready to pop in their poppers and defend themselves if someone starts shooting.   I hope it does not come to that.               Those crowd dispersing rubber bullets? I've also seen video demos of the rifle launched nets and the glue crap the WILL slow you down and some foam "stuff" that sets up quickly making walking danged near impossible. It's not going to fair well for the GOP who has no compassion for these people, and the bleeding heart Dems will condemn anything Trump does. I believe most people in the US are against the caravans, but it's different when the News shows all the horrible scenes on TV. Hopefully, none of this happens before elections next week. Swing voters might just pull Democrat!
