It must be a very special unit as it will fit a 1998 or 2003 Interstate.

It's up to $340 now.  That's about what they go for if you can find them.  I can recommend it highly for a Standard or Tourer.  I don't believe it will actually work on any Interstate.

it will work on any classic valkyrie. I have a dyna and have the instructions and copies of posts from the beta testers. Dynatek originally during beta testing were going to have two separate units, after the testing, they changed the curves and made only one for all models.

I have one on mine as well, love it. The only thing I would say is they did have a bad batch or two before they went out of business. If you buy it would keep the old one in your saddlebag for a while. These are really rare now.

I tried one on my Interstate.  It had worked perfectly well on my Standard but over advanced on the Interstate.  I guess it's always possible that I just didn't find the right curve but I doubt it.  The web pages when it was available for sale specifically said Standard and Tourer.

only difference of the I/S was the ICM. The OEM TW for all models were the same. just needed the right curve. if your I/S had aftermarket TW then retard switch would have been needed until at hwy speed. I run a modified oem TW and use the retard switch.

Friend of mine got a bad one and quit on him halfway to Dayton’s one year. Fortunately our group had a Harley rider who was trailering and the Valkyrie got to piggyback the rest of the way. He then had his stock ICM overnighted to Daytona.

That sort of soured me on the Dyna as the support from them was nada. Now buying a used one for more than new prices that may quit tomorrow is even less appealing.

These are a must have for anyone who ever thinks about supercharging. I have one on mine as well and I like that I can dial up ignition curves from Performance to Economy. Really brings to life the Valkyrie.
