November 7th, 60*, screw work, I'm Riding!
Back roads were still wet & leaf covered, so I headed west on the pike to I 91n. Rolled into Deerfield and roads had dried up decent so I headed up Rt 116 (best road in MA), to 112 to 2. It was there I spied our senatorial winners home. I wanted to congratulate Pocahontas myself, but alas she wasn't home.

Oh well, I tried, back on the road, headed north into VT. Lots of leftover water flowing onto the roads from inches of rain recently so easy did it in blind corners.
Coming back into Colrain, MA., I passed a green & silver I/S, anyone here?
Found a mom n pop place for a Sammie & coffee, fueled up and headed home.
Rolled in just before dark and there's a squirrel digging in the back yard. 5 minutes later he had been dispatched.
Was a good day,
Craig

P.S. woo-hoo!! This is my first post with a picture!

NewValker,

Nice report and interesting pic... congrats on the successful posting, by the way. I sure hope you don't incur the wrath of PETA for the squirrel dispatch!!!

Hey Craig, good report and one I can say I've been on, couple a hundred times. :cooldude:

Have they repaved the lower part of 116 yet out of Deerfield?

Last time I was there, they had just finished the colrain to ashfield part.

Reminded me of Roanoke.

Oss

Real good 1st report and pic !

By the way, did the squirrel get to go for a swim 1st like we do in Ossining?   :2funny:

Rob, you sure are   :2funny:

DDT, PETA is scared of me!

Bill, I think new pavement started a mile or 2 after the gas station.

Oss, my squirrels always die of lead poisoning.
