It's 30 degrees and snowing we are suppose to get 4 inches of that white stuff.
It's way too early for snow it should be in the upper 40's this time of the year.
It's going to be cold for the next week.
I'm hopeful for a little warm weather for a few more rides.

then you get the HEAT!

ha, ha, we only suppose to get 1 inch of that white stuff.

Agree,  we should be mid to upper 40's for highs and ONLY have seen pushing 40 for a high next weekend is all rest teens for lows and low 30's for highs, bitter cold for this time of year.

Welcome to WI,  maybe hoping by end of November it is 50 degrees for a week or so?   Cry - woopieee!!!

I predict heavier snow and colder than normal temps for this WI winter, we have had it way too easy the past decade or more vs. normal especially not much snow.   I best change oil in the snowblowers since have not in several years only used 2-3 times tops each winter is all.  I only use snowblower if over 4 inches of snow which is only 1-2 times the past several each winters.  I find it easier and as quick to hand shovel if under that.

Should be perfect riding weather here in the Houston area.....but it has rained nearly every day for the last 6 weeks.    I just won't quit raining.   Got couple inches last night.   Woke up this morning with webbed feet.

Not so and I have no idea why you would assume that.

Actually I remember many years ago a heavy snow at Halloween.  The trees were still in leaf and took the weight dropping trees and branches to the ground.  The city looked like a war zone for several days.

Except for visits over the years, I haven't lived in Kansas since Jan 1984 until we got here in August. I do remember 6 feet snow higher drifts in Hutchinson once while I was growing up.

I remember when it use to snow here in Indiana in October. We always have a local festival called Octoberfest. I remember going to it as a kid in high school freezing. The last several years I have wore shorts. Must be that global warming.  Cheesy

I am always optimistic I would say, or more like stupidity,  waiting and HOPING mid to end of November will get a nice warm spell back into the 50's or 60's like the past few years riding up thru the last week of November.    After looking at extended forecast probably will NOT happen they first said high of 40 both days next weekend, but now has dropped back down to only upper 30's.

I am not holding my breath on warmer temps this November unfortunately.... tickedoff

I was talking to my parents last week and they were in snow, but we are almost in to summer here so it was late spring snow..... They are touring the South Island of New Zealand, South is our cold end of the country so not unheard off.... So my bike is going through checks before summer long rides not getting ready to park up Tongue

Not that it gets cold enough to winterise the bike here Smiley

good point Jack, forgot about that after seeing my dark gray truck near white from driving 5 hours north this weekend.  My truck was pretty clean NO salt but after looking how ugly dirty white it is just yesterday,  salt is evil on our bikes.

I doubt a few showers will wash all that crap off the roads they slinged on like it was going out of style this Saturday with about tops 1 inch on the ground.  Yah, it was icy and freezing to the pavement, but it will melt right???

Just saw extended forecast into Thanksgiving time and if you believe the weatherman,  it is suppose to be ABOVE normal temps so might hit 45 degree - woopiee!!!
