I realize not many care for the NFL here anymore. This is for the handful that still do. Been a Cowboy fan for over 5 decades now. It's do or die time for them now. Big game for them tonight.

I still watch a lot of NFL even though I don't agree with the politics. Nothing I do will affect their actions so I watch for my own pleasure. I used to watch the Cowboys closely but they seem to have fallen off in performance in recent years. I have a daughter living in Green Bay so if I don't at least show some modicum of support I get fussed at big time. Some times I purposely bug her by texting like I did this afternoon with "Go Dolphins!"  She always responds in sort of a personal way.  Wink  She knows why I do it, it's just our "thing."   Grin

Hope they all have to work minimum wage jobs. Though not likely as too many still pay to see and watch on TV so ratings wont drop much. How can anyone support the disrespect of our country and flag is beyond me.

Discovered (shortly after the kneeling crap started) that I really didn't need or miss the NFL's overpaid entertainment.     I'll leave it at that...   coolsmiley

+2 (in my case a Packers fan for 50+ yrs.) but things are always changing. Game 2 of last season, two clowns from my team were kneeling. Dipsquat Rogers and the team President & coach all said they "supported" the players. Fine.
Buh bye.

Can't cheer for people you don't respect. Haven't seen a game since, and when the evening news comes on and they recap the game, it's interesting, but without passion.

Same here,, but got nothing to do with the issue itself. They have a perfect right to demonstrate, but not on the job. Go demonstrate on your own time.

I whole heartedly agree.   It is also my right to demonstrate my own opinion by not supporting these overpaid entertainers.   Was a lifelong Chiefs fan, haven't watched a single game since they started their protest.   As I said before, I didn't realize how much I didn't need that entertainment until I stopped watching......

Yup, love is a fragile thing. But once you get past the feelings of hurt, loss, whatever, you eventually can't remember what the big deal was.

cowboys are not what they use to be in the 70s, 80, 90s when I actually liked them the best.  Much past Troy Aikman and Deion Sanders era is when I did not watch the Cowboys much longer.  They became way too many big mouth druggies who thought their  _hit did not _tink... as is the case with most NFL players nowadays.

I even did not even watch the Packers much this Sunday since had stuff to do around the house mostly outside since have to take advantage of ANY sunny and not too windy days left even if in the 30's for temps.   Amazes me how even in the 30's for temps if SUNNY and NON windy,  it almost felt like 50 degrees.

My beloved Pats sucked canal water this past weekend.

The bye week comes at just the right time.

I can't say much in that regard. The Titan's dominated the Cowboys also. It's nice seeing some of these young quarterbacks blossom.  cooldude
