I wasn't sure whether this should go on the general board or the tech board, but here's a guy I can relate to.

He's got it worse than I do.

I have one I removed from my bike I can send him to round out his collection.  I'll see if he's interested.  Good catch, I'm sure he'll be embarrassed once he realizes his oversight.

Quite a noisy hobby I'd say. When we had our '92 Wing, one weekend I was poking around a marine shop in Daytona just to kill some time while waiting for a friend that was doing some serious shopping there for his boat. I spotted a set of air horns that measured 17" for the short one and 19" for the long trumpet, I had to ask how much pressure it took so the owner did a demo for us. Geez....were they loud, and they ran off the beer can size compressor. Bingo says I!  I told him I was going to mount one under each saddlebag so he tossed in a second compressor, found out they came off a 45' boat so that explained the output. Took them home, a couple hours of fab for mounts and wiring and went for a ride. What a kick that was, around here it doesn't take long to find someone asleep at the wheel when the light changes, that day was no different. I didn't tell my wife about the horns, but the first time we took a ride she about jumped off the back seat when I woke up another driver. Kinda wish I'd kept them for the Valkyrie, I had a blast with them on the Wing....pun intended!  Wink
