Rob,

Looks like a great day to be you!!! I recognized many of those towns, especially Wickenburg... been through there many times to and from Prescott... I've also passed through Parker a couple of times... I don't recall Cave Creek, though, so... does that mean I gotta go back and do it all again...? Anyway, you triggered some very pleasant memories for me... THANKS!

I enjoyed the day as well, Rob.  We need to do that more often.  I liked your "short cut" on the way back to Dairy Queen.

We should do it more often.  cooldude After Dennis and I split at Salome I passed some bikes who gave me the “cop” signal. I slowed down from 90 to 70. Went 5 miles with no sign and I thought he must have went somewhere else. Was just about to crank it back up when I spot his lights on some poor guy. Then I got to thinking I sure was glad that guy gave me the signal, and it’s too bad I couldn’t thank him. Then a mile down I was able to give the signal to a couple other riders. I guess that’s how we show our Thanks, by passing it on.

Thanks for the ride Rob!
I kept waiting for you to take a different way back. I always try to make a loop out of a ride. But out here there’s tons of ways to get somewhere. Are the roads limited there?
Someday I’d like to see that area...

Turns out not what or where,
but who you ride with really matters

My original plan was to run back thru Yarnell, Bagdad, Kingman. But time was running short. I'm glad I didn't though, it was really cold up there. As it was I didn't get back home till an hour after dark. But yeah, we don't have near as many roads as you guys do. From my place there are a couple roads going west and a couple going east. There is a lot to see out here, you definitely should come out.  cooldude

That was cool.  Did you see the tank on the side of the road near Bouse?  And of course, the Bouse Fisherman?
