Three Valkyrie riders hurt when a bike crossed over into them on the Cherohala Skyline … Whiskey Man his wife Sugar and Sam . Sam would always come to my Fall Color Ride but after this day I've never seen him again ( Sam kneeling on right ) . Even worse after this crash the same day Roger was killed when he lost control of his bike. ( Roger 4th standing ). I've shared this before I was with them at Deals Gap when they was going to cross Cherohala I had a bad feeling and passed on the rest of the ride.

The news of that day was very shocking to say the least.

That is one ride that I'm very glad to have missed out on.  Cry

track days are safer and much faster...
That has absolutely nothing to do with this. Track days don't have beautiful roads and road trips.

So True and extremely insensitive. Roger was one of the really good guys. I miss our conversations at the FCR. His wife was always there with him. GOOD PEOPLE.  angel

It was the worst day and hopefully the worst day we'll ever have in this brotherhood of old motorcycles and good people.

I reckon Sam gave up ridin' after this, & I don't think his shoulder has ever been right again.

We miss Roger. Couldn't believe it when we found out he didn't make it off the mountain.
Our prayers are with his Wife, always.

Sugar & I healed up, & still enjoy Cherohala...

(This years FCR)

God Bless Brothers & Sisters, ride safe!
