Being as I am up here in the some what frozen north of Illinois but as of this moment not white Christmas I extend to All my Friends here Greetings of the season. We've had a very good time here with near all the family gathered together this year including my 85 year old sister and her brood. I have nieces that are grandmas. THAT really means I are indeed and fact gittin older. Last night we were all gathered up at My Brothers house and tonight we just got back from a nieces house after games food more games photos exchanging of phone numbers and such like. I can NOT recall 2 nights in a row that I laughed so cursed hard in a really Long time. My S I L daughter and her three kids are here at Ross's and still playing games. My adopted Granddaughter a Captain in the Air Force came back with a Bronze Star after a 7 month tour in Afghanistan. She beat her husband to a Combat Tour and a higher award. He is currently stationed in South Korea with the Air Force. I can't go into details of either ones current M O S. Anywho-Merry Christmas and a Happy and Joyous New Year to ALL my ridin friends here!  :cooldude: RIDE SAFE.

Dennis, the same to you my friend. I used to love the family get togethers during holidays, this year it's just the two of us so it's rather quiet. Rita hasn't been able to travel for 5-6 yrs. so people have to come here. However, all our kids are married and have families of their own and in-laws as well so we don't demand they come here. I did point out to her two boys the number of Christmas times left for their mother are numbered, they tend to put their own interests ahead of anything else and it kinda bothers me and their sister. Their sister is good with staying in touch and/or flying down for short visits. The boys are both on the Gulf Coast....about 115 miles away, and she sees her mom more than either of them. She lives outside of D.C.

You and your gang have a safe holiday and prosperous New Year. Say "hey" to Ross for me as well.

Merry Christmas to everyone, especially to those of you who have or are about to lose some member of your family.

I've read somewhere on the Internet that friends are the family that you chose. Like our biological families, we sometimes have squabbles. Inspite of this, when it comes to the real issues of living, we come together to give each other support in different ways.

To repeat - MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!

;) Merry Christmas to you and all my Brothers on VRCC. I uderstand what some are saying about kids not visiting family or complaining about being made to go visit. Bugs me alot.  :-\ When I was my kids age, boy/ girl twins 25. I enjoyed driving down to Orlando to visit my 80+ yr old grandparents 2-3 time a year. I'd go by myself many times not being married yet till I was 27 and then would take my wife.
So last Sunday we made a trip to Tallahassee to visit my 83 yr old dad and I get the look and comments. Yes it really bugs me!  :-X   I'm over it....  ;)  Have a Happy New Year as well.  :smitten:
