Well with 2018 on its way out and times being what they are I'm pretty sure 19 is going to be interesting also.

Decided to end 2018 at home with a quiet evening knowing I had volunteered to work for another co-worker that had family plans on the first day of the New Year.    Went to bed about my normal bed time.   At mid-night, one of my neighbors set off a dozen or so fireworks with huge explosive booms.    Set my dogs and all the neighborhood dogs  off on a barking frenzy that lasted at least half an hour.  

Needless to say, I was not a happy camper.     That neighbor better remain unknown.    I'm an early riser on a daily basis.    Two can play that game.   The difference being, I won't wake up the rest of the neighborhood.  

On a side note, I'm feeling like starting the New Year off with a unhealthy but delicious breakfast of biscuits and sausage gravy.    Hmmm, where to go?
