Thinking of doing business with Motorsports in Auburn. Anyone have issues with them? Thanks Rick

Rick, I bought a Wing from them in 2006. When shopping for wing this time they were in the same ball bark as other local dealers around price. No one was moving much off the MSRP. They were trying to steal the Indian so I went elsewhere and got a better deal.  I would classify them as fair. On a used bike my opinion would be make an offer a grand or two lower than their asking price, they are sure to reject it so just walk out. They will call you back with counter offers. At this time of the year you are in the drivers seat.
Good luck.

Rick,

I had preliminary discussions with one of their salesman when I was shopping for the 2018 Wing. My sense from these was that they were not willing to deal off of MSRP. Also, they were not very interested in taking the Valk in trade and gave me a very low price. To be fair, the other dealers I spoke with also were not that interested in the trade.

Out of the four dealers I spoke with about the 2018 Wing, only Central Mass Power Sports was amenable to discussing a deal. They asked me what I wanted for a deal and we went from there. I was happy with the outcome.

Thanks guys. Not looking for new bike. I'll start 2K under asking. KBB is is only 500 over what they are asking. Already know I'll have to walk out to get anywhere. Doubt that I would drive that far for service.

Probably too late chiming in on Motorsports for this particular purchase, but just to add my 2 cents on them:

They do tend to be expensive (in my opinion), but they have pretty good stock (parts & bikes) so its fun to shop there.
I've bought a couple of quads off them but no bikes yet - the quads were in stock there and not other places, and the prices weren't terribly higher (I did not have trade-ins to comment on that).
Like most dealers, they don't offer test rides :(
Eric (sales person) is VERY knowledgeable and easy to deal with, I definitely recommend him.
Family has taken stuff to them for service and said they fixed what several others could not.
The owner has been helping ATV clubs get off the ground (to change the ridiculous MA ATV laws).

Good luck in the purchase (if you haven't bought it yet!)

I bought the 2008 Gold Wing and I love it. They stored it from January to April at no charge. One of the baker Wings was broken and they fixed it. The bike only has 32,000 miles which is basically just past break-in. I dealt with Eric and he was very easy to deal with. They had already dropped the price $1,500 from original price. They offered a $200 veterans discount so I got it for $10,299. It is top of the line with ABS and Navigation built in.
