Noticed this thread when it was first posted. Decided to think about it and try to come up with a good reason to develop this technology. I still haven't figured out why...... Rams the only thing I can think of to make it worthwhile is if the cyclists falls asleep or crash avoidance sensors take over reacting quicker than the cyclists can, if it works PROPERLY that is.... Most new 2019 vehicles now all have lane departure assist (works like crap if you ask me more often than one would think), adaptive cruise control (only one I think would be nice on interstate long distance driving), and auto dim/bright headlights. |
