Started this afternoon here in NoVA.  The weather channel says it doesn't stop until 3AM Monday.

Marvelous.   Tongue

At least it's not rain.

Thirteen inches here per the weatherman.  Wetter than usual, 8" snow = 1" water.  We're in a drought so we need the moisture.  Since I bought a Kubota and rigged it for plowing a couple years ago we've had almost no snow.  Figures - that's what is keeping it away.  But this little amount - our 4WD Mazda and 4Runner can handle no sweat so I'll let the sun take care of it.  Don't have walkup traffic anyway - product is almost all shipped.

Not sure if we are lucky or not.  On the east coast of VA no snow for us but close to 2" of rain so far.  Took a foot of water out of my pool in December and will have to take some more out soon.  Nice pic.  She looks to enjoy her work.

If more snow shovelers were looking like that young female,  I'd be more apt to shovel more snow by hand.  Although,  with no snow shoveling this winter besides a light icy 1 inch dusting,  I doubt I will get many good looking bikini clad shovelers.... Roll Eyes

Had to come back inside for my nitroglycerine tablet (heart attack).   Grin

Got out somewhat early and it's still too wet (the snow, not the bikini) for my little suitcase Toro snowblower, and the Stihl backpack same thing.  Able to blow the cars off, but not much else.

It's supposed to warm up in the next few days, so I'll let mother nature do the work.  I'm whipped.

Is she for hire, and I do not care if she speaks English or not, just show her my driveway?  6 maybe 7 inches here which is the first time we have gotten at least 6 inches since Dec. of 2013.  I guess we have been lucky in recent years.  Many snows but small amounts, just enough for them to throw that gosh awful beet juice that paints the roads white and is quite corrosive.   Out here in the country they tend to use more grit, but still beet juice also.

AD, I don't know if she's for hire, but that would sure be a better heart attack than shoveling snow.   Grin

Anyway, it's time for my nap now.

a soft bristle brush snowbroom/ice scraper combo does fine brushing off the 3+ inch snowfalls off the car.  Any less than 3 inches or so,  I let the wind going down the hwy. blow it off my vehicles.  Cardboard on windshield overnight remedies any scrapping off the windows as well.  In 5-6 miles,  the side windows are melted enough somewhat since I do not do any turning left/right after my 1 mile stretch first in town to the long hwy.
