I was just watching my recording of Saturday's Dakar Rally. One of the commercials was for some new fangled razor/trimmer. The thing I found strange is, not only were they showing how to trim your beard and your hairline, but they were showing how to shave your legs, arms, chest. Is that a thing nowadays ? I guess it doesn't matter, I won't be jumping on the bandwagon anyway.

My wife has never said anything about my body hair (there are people with both more and less than I have), and she is the only person that I need to have approval of.

Only shaving I ever did on my legs was during football season in HS. I used to wear cut down shoes for speed and would tape my ankles for support. You learned rather quickly to shave about halfway up your calf cuz if you didn't remove that hair, the tape would. When basketball started you could tell who had also played on the football team due to the clean shaven lower legs. The girls loved it and my GF actually would shave it for me. Aaahh youth....'tis lost on the young!  2funny

No thanks, not for me either.

but if you look at the womenscaping on women down below, I like the designs or arrows pointing downward to guide you down below on where to go.... Kiss

Some women down there from certain pics I have seen definitely need some trimming or would get lost in the jungle.   Shocked

Hundreds of years ago, when I was in High School/College I was on the swim team.  Once a year we would shave down for the finial  big meet.  No, we did it ourselves, no females involved.  At least on one volunteered to shave me.   Thankfully I am not that hairy, so didn't take long.  Took longer to shave my head than the rest of me.   2funny 2funny

Now don't see the need, my DW feel the need for me to shave my body, just my face.

If you're married, have kids, and still need directions to prevent "getting lost", I don't know where to send you for help.  coolsmiley

As the hair departed the top of my head, it started coming out of my nose and ears (and on my nose and neck).  It was always there I guess, but it's more like a neanderthal man than in my youth.

I've lost most of my vanity in old age, but one of those little hair trimmers beats the hell out of poking yourself with a tiny pointy set of scissors.  And using the shaving razor in your ears or nose is definitely a mistake, unless you find yourself with too much blood.

I cut my own hair with Walmart trimmers every few months, and will go after a bit of the underarms and chest that grows long enough to stick up out of my shirt collar.  But this isn't vanity so much as to stop the laughing.

My wife used to look at me and laugh, and start that old poem..... Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear.......

Am I the only odd ball here. I am more interested in the Dakar rally. Just last night I discovered it had been moved from Africa to  South America. Because of terrorists threats. Maybe man scraping is more terrifying.  Embarrassed

2funny I only discovered that a couple years ago myself. Have you been watching it ? I'm pulling for Brabeck, but it looks like he's falling back.

No, you're not alone. I've been watching it for over a decade.  This years coverage is better than the last few years. It's seems the film crews have more resources.

Brabeck is doing great, but with 4 more days of racing, it's anyone's podium.

Looks like Robby Gordon should consider retiring.

Manscaping?  No comment. Not interested.
