Unsure if someone posted this before, but here is a really nice video telling the story of the Honda VFR (and its V4 engine). Starts with the first racing motorcycle and goes through all the generations up to the VFR1200x (which is an adventure motorcycle):

i had a '96 VFR750F. I always felt like you put this bike on, like a suit of clothes. Felt one with the bike.
