I woke up to a light freezing drizzle and supposed to go to the BOW meeting.  Missed that and went to the doctor instead. Another urinary tract infection.  My ole bod keeps thinking up new ways to bug me.

Fortunately the freezin drizzle didin't affect the parking lot. It was clear. The doc tells me that falls are the biggest killer of people over 75.   Too hard to recover from them. Just what I needed to hear.

I sure wish, in the middle of my 90th Indiana winter, that I could be out riding my Valkyire once again in the summer but that won't happen any more.  Long past.

To all of you out there ride safe if you can ride and, if not, think about riding safe next season.

Wayne you sir have nothing but my utmost respect as a Man and a Man who served our country. Thanks for your service. I have to ask do you drink plenty of water? The reason I ask is me being in the medical field,I see this way to often that the elderly ( not that you are yet cooldude) do not hydrate and drink the fluids they should because they dont want to bother with having to go to the bathroom many times a day( and wind up with UTI’s) Just food for thought.

Solo1 you are the Man!  However,  Wink Bighead is exactly right, I see it too! Drinking plenty of H2O you will not have UTI. Knock this UTI out and keep hydrated.  coolsmiley

I am guilty as probably a lot of us are about not drinking enough water daily.  My urine is always darker yellow color and have seen my kid and wife after going not flushing yet (or forgetting in the case of my kid usually) and they drink enough water so it is clear vs. mine always darker yellow color.  I still go pee 3-4 times daily but I guess that is not enough apparently?  I think if I drank 3-4x's what I do now which I should,  I bet  going to the bathroom to urinate would be more like 6-7 times daily or more.

If you ever get lucky enough to have kidney stones  :-. you will increase your water intake. Take my word for it.

yes, I'm now drinking more water.  I, too, haven't in the past done that.  I'm on Cipro now for the infection and I drink at least 12 ounces with that plus a lot more during the day.  TURP surgery in 2017 made things more controllable.

I haven't figured out yet how to overcome the winter blues tho. Living by myself doesn't help much .

Hope you're feeling better Wayne.  Stiff upper lip.  You're not alone, you got us.
