That clip has to be a joke? With his low voice, no one would refer to him as a MAM unless he was wearing a lace evening gown.

The clear irony in this is that while having some marginally female looking parts and clothes (and the face isn't remotely one of them) which barely pays lip service to femaleness, this person is clearly driven and motivated by a strong level of male testosterone in voice, actions and attitude to dominate all present by physical power (and probably could have kicked everyone's ass present with little effort). Excuse me for saying this ma'am, but you are one studly broad.

Annnnnnd what's your point. That dude was out of line and appeared to be drunk. He kicked the dude in the pink shirt and got arrested. He got what he deserved. The "ma'am" in the first video should have been arrested too for at least destruction of property. So I will ask again. What is your point?

Just like I wrote, "Out of control people... but you can find those in any gender, I guess."
And I agree, to such cases is why we have the rule of law.
Now picking on him/her/whateverz because of its physical appearance or gender is stupid.
@MAD6Gun: do you think the old woman in California should be arrested?

Did the woman in the video assault him in any way? No she didnt. What she said was reprehensible and wrong. If she had assaulted that man or his mom then yes she should have been arrested just like the guy in the airport. Calling someone a rapist and a animal is reprehensible but not against the law. If so I could have had someone arrested who called my a stupid racist for voting for Trump. You say picking on someone because of their appearance or gender is stupid. With that so would picking on someone because they have a Trump hat on. Wouldn't it??? Well wouldn't it?

@MAD6Gun: the old woman was trespassing private property and harassing the guy's mother and later him. But I'm no lawyer, just an engineer. While being a Trump supporter is a choice, people don't choose sexual orientation. I know for sure, I'm attracted only to women. In any case, I believe everyone deserves to be respected (including MAGA hatters).

The only exception to the 'rule of respect' are Nazis. Those only deserve a good punch in the face. On the surface I agree with that stance, however as we've seen the definition of Nazi has been morphing the last few years to the point that anyone to the right of Stalin is being called a Nazi... Slippery slopes are slippery.

Slippery slopes are slippery. Not so slippery. It's outright hypocrisy. As soon as one voices and allows his own exception he is saying, "I can but others can't." It's disingenuous. It lacks true integrity. By that practice groups of people have changed definitions of the "bad" guys so that they can label anyone with whom they disagree and make them in their own minds eligible targets. By that thinking large groups have insisted that if they claim something stupid often and loudly enough it is no longer stupid. I have my own list of exceptions, but then I don't claim I need to respect everyone or accept everyone's stupidity as valid. A male who puts on a dress and insists on being called ma'am is ...

@DirtyDan: I would put other kinds of evil in that bag of dirt (i.e. rapists, child molesters, murderers, etc) but we are kind of getting out of subject, no? You don't need to be a genius to conclude that. In context, I was addressing the question made about MAGA hatters (yep, they should be respected as also questioned) and thought the Comics of Captain America was nice to refer to Nazis. @Willow: I guess we have to agree to disagree. There is pure evil in the world and there is no hypocrisy in respecting people in general X punishing pure evil (again, following the rule of the law).

When assigned overseas to Turkey, I made it my mission to learn as much useful Turkish language as I could (though my job kept me very busy). There was no chance at fluency, so I did what most would do, and learned the basic salutations, and every day words and phrases that might get me around with pigeon language abilities. And there is no doubt that making the effort to learn someone's language puts you in a better light with those people, everywhere (and it did).
And I was amused and grateful when I learned that only one word was necessary to say either sir or madam, and that was effendim. Another beauty of Turkish is that every word in the vocabulary is pronounced exactly like it is spelled (with few exceptions)
(No doubt you have seen movies where the related Arabic word of effendi is used as a title of nobility, or to show respect for leaders or bosses)
Not that I'm suggesting we rewrite the English language.

There is pure evil in the world and there is no hypocrisy in respecting people in general X punishing pure evil (again, following the rule of the law). It's fortunate that a genius is not required to come to your conclusion. I guess you didn't bother to read or failed to comprehend what I was saying. I don't need anyone's agreement to disagree with someone. People's evaluation of what is pure evil differs. That is why it is indeed hypocritical to say that one thinks everyone deserves respect except for one's own exceptions implying that no one else's exceptions are valid. We do agree that there is indeed pure evil in the world. We simply likely disagree on what that pure evil is. For what it's worth as an example I don't think any male who puts on a dress and demands to be called ma'am has necessarily earned any respect from me.

All freaks back in the closet Craig What you mean by that, my friend? In this case it means that if you don’t know what you are, get back in the closet. Stop being a freak in society. IT can do anything IT wants to try to normalize IT’S issue, but i refuse to ever believe they’re anywhere near normal. You got your 15 minutes, now back in the closet. YMMV, Craig

My criticism to him is his lack of spine + avoiding his duties in the Senate. The source was a screencapture from twitter. Read my original comment in the post: "But I'm afraid that transfering the State of Union to the Senate wouldn't work, after all, Mitch has gone missing.". Nothing related to his physical appearance or gender identification. But yeah, feel free to twist it in any way that fits your agenda.
