It is truly a brotherhood. I do not do as much as I should. I ,too am a veteran. I have blood family. All veterans have family they do not know.

"  It is truly a brotherhood"  I believe that also.

And  I too do not do as much as I should. I too am a veteran and served during that era but I was safely tucked away 200 feet underwater most of the time.

I have several close friends, who served in Viet Nam, one in combat, hence the stop we made at "The Wall" in 2007 on our trip to Maine from SC.

He never speaks of his service, but we all know he served and lived.

Thanks to all Veterans for their service, where every you might be.

I too served in Viet Nam on occasion from 1962-1966. I was aboard the USS Kawishiwi AO 146 a super tanker, along side the USS Kitty Hawk CV 63, and the first nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise CV 65. Made many trips through the Tonkin Gulf fueling the gun boats and the carriers for their jet fighters. Also supplied the gun boats with fresh food and water.
I was saddened to hear this vet died alone, but he is now at piece, rest his sole.
