If you want to put these on an Interstate. Here's my method...

These are the same billet stacks that I cut a "V" opening to accommodate the I/S pods. I did not want to start bending pod engine guard mount tabs to reposition the pod to fit with stack installed. It's a clean and virtually invisable modification method and does not create a tweaked pod position.

Aeromach' stacks are CNC machined from a solid block of billet aluminum, not cast aluminum like the other guys.
I used a Dremel cut-off wheel, fine filed the cut & polished the cut on a polishing wheel. You'd be hard pressed to see where the chrome ends, especially if I had filed the cut and sanded a little better. The chrome has not chipped or peeled at the cut edge. I don't know for sure, but I doubt I would have had the same results with the other's cast units. The cast units, I imagine, would be more brittle and possibly prone to fracturing and/or breaking.

I'm thinking about ordering a set for my bike. I know the Aeromach are better than HDL but looking at the price of $255 & $170 ($199 -15%off)
I think I'll save some $$ this time around

You certainly could if you have BigBF's screens. They make it look like there are filters under them.
BTW the screens also drain water from the stacks quite well.

It's too bad that they don't contribute to performance.  My Valk has enough bling, and the Harley guys already think I have way too much hp.

I like safety chrome but not at that price.
