Houston area was forcast this morning with a Very unusual February 75 degree 7% rain day.      I took my favorite ride short version and did country winding roads for 160 miles.  Past over Lake Sommerville dam and the Lake is flooded from our continual rain that has been inundating our area since September.  The dam is letting out water full blast which sometimes creates good fishing below the dam.....gonna try my luck Thursday morning.

I rode yesterday too... it was over 70 here as well. And our lakes are all full too.
I hear it is a spectacle when they open up all the spillways at the Hartwell
dam...

Over 70 here too, and I got out for a couple hours.

Choking on the the salt dust a bit, but you can't have everything.

Good on you both for getting out in the breeze !

Waiting for the rain to wash the salt away, its everywhere and the roads are now minefields with potholes, some REALLY BIG ones.

Post pics if you can of your rides, they mean a lot to us.

I'm still learning how to use my new camera. I set it to "picture every second" instead
of video yesterday, but it defaulted to only taking 300 pictures. I've reset it to keep
taking a picture every second until the battery runs out, I hope to go for another
ride today.

With it set to video and 30 frames-per-second, the battery runs out after 45 minutes or
an hour, but it sure is nice to pick out "just the right frame" at the exact instant you
want for a picture. Plus, the camera has hardware image stabilization when in video
mode, some of my picture-mode pictures show windshield vibration.
