That is hilarious. But they're all washed up. Trump will be re-elected by a landslide.

I think she is finished as a presidential candidate. But not because of some silly meme. Having lied about not using Native American on any official documents won’t sit well with primary voters.

I wish it were that simple, but around half the voters could care less about a candidate's background, even when the FBI says, "she did it". All they care about is the list of promises from the candidate regarding who's going to pay for everything they want for free. I fear the iceberg has flipped.

and everytime ya think it can't get funnier-

NEW YORK (AP) Joy Behar and ABC were silent Thursday after an old photo resurfaced of "The View" co-host using makeup to darken her skin for a Halloween costume, the latest flashpoint in a series of blackface scandals making national headlines.

The 76-year-old didn't mention the clip on Thursday's show, one day after an editor for the entertainment website The Wrap tweeted the three-year-old segment of Behar discussing a resurgence of curly hair.

During the 2016 segment, Behar displayed a 1970s-era photo of herself at a Halloween party when she was 29. She says that the hair was her own and that she had dressed as a "beautiful African woman."

Co-host Raven-Symone asked whether she had on tanning lotion. Behar, an outspoken liberal, said she wore makeup "that was a little bit darker than my skin."

Messages seeking comment were not returned from Behar's agent and the ABC program.

Critics were quick to point out that NBC cut ties with host Megyn Kelly last year after she created a furor by suggesting that it was OK for white people to wear blackface on Halloween.

This week, Virginia's governor and attorney general are being criticized for their use of blackface. Florida Secretary of State Michael Ertel resigned last month after a photo surfaced showing him wearing blackface and dressing as a "Hurricane Katrina victim."

Other white celebrities who have been called out for using blackface include Julianne Hough, who in 2012 dressed as characters from Netflix's "Orange Is the New Black," and "Real Housewives of New York" star LuAnn De Lesseps, who dressed as Diana Ross for Halloween in 2017.

A lot of little white kids wore Black Panther Halloween costumes last year. I thought it was very cool that they were colorblind enough to want to go as a black Superhero, just as I wouldn't think twice about a black kid wanting to be Batman. Guess I'm a racist. And those little white Black Panther kids can forget about running for office if the crazies keep up the act.

This reminds me of the book "Black Like Me"

Quote from the link below:

On October 28, 1959, John Howard Griffin underwent a transformation that changed many lives beyond his own—he made his skin black and traveled through the segregated Deep South. His odyssey of discovery was captured in journal entries, arguably the single most important documentation of 20th-century American racism ever written. More than 50 years later, this newly edited edition—which is based on the original manuscript and includes a new design and added afterword—gives fresh life to what is still considered a “contemporary book.” The story that earned respect from civil rights leaders and death threats from many others endures today as one of the great human—and humanitarian—documents of the era. In this new century, when terrorism is too often defined in terms of a single ethnic designation or religion, and the first black president of the United States is subject to hateful slurs, this record serves as a reminder that America has been blinded by fear and racial intolerance before. This is the story of a man who opened his eyes and helped an entire nation to do likewise.

Amazon is selling a 50th anniversary edition https://www.amazon.com/Black-Like-Me-50th-Anniversary/dp/0916727688/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1549638667&sr=8-2&keywords=book+black+like+me

Maybe all these yahoos getting castigated for wearing blackface at parties could claim they are totally socially aware and they were actually doing a PSA with the costume.  That would certainly fit their usual hypocrisy paradigm.

A neighboring town near me fired a teacher/coach for dressing like Bob Marley on halloween in 07 or 08. How far are we willing to take this? We have high profile elected officials pretending to be of Indian heritage then we have normal every day people dressing up like people they admire and getting s*hit canned. We have a serious problem in this country and it all leads back to democrats. They are even eating their own. I don't care if a white person dresses as a black person or black dresses as white. What the hell does it matter? I bet anything you will see more and more people do this to be rebellious against the establishment. The PC crap has gone way too far and i fear we haven't seen the worst of it yet.

I suspect the vast majority of Americans fall into this category you just described Gavin.  Back in 2015 my son had a project in school to due a project and presentation on a historical figure they admired and to dress the part.   My son chose Ben Carson who was running for president at that time.  My wife thought we should make his face darker however I thought it was unnecessary and he did not.  I very much doubt Ben Carson would have minded either way.  It is bad enough I saddled him with 2 middle names after my favorite president - Thomas Jefferson.  Lord know how that may play out in his future with this PC nonsense.

I suspect soon they will remove the Hollywood walk of fame star for Al Jolson. I have seen pics this week of Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Maude Behar, and several others in blackface from the past.   Better run them off also.

If you hold just a single person accountable for dressing in "black face" then everyone has to be held accountable. It can't be ok for one to do it and not the other.

Here's the fix to this and many other problems.  Take away the notion that we have the right to not ever be offended.  It used to be if you complained of being offended, you were quickly told to shut up and get over it.  We need those days back.

Imagine if a black person wore white face and a white person complained. They would be told to shut up and get over it and rightly so.
