It looks like a Honda 50, but with an adult in the picture you can
tell it is GIANT...

I sat on one last weekend at the IMS show. I have a 29” inseam. For me, it is tall. My feet get to the ground the same as my F6B. Not quite tip toeing, but very close.

I wouldn't wanna take any real trips on that, but if I had an RV a pair of those strapped to the back would be more fun than is allowed by law in many states just to run around the camp ground and such.

When I was 12 I hung out at the Honda shop all day drooling on the mini-trail 50s and then
the trail 70s... all the adults I saw there were drooling on the 750 fours  Wink

that is what I thought, thanks for the insight, seems to be bigger than one would think.  I think would make a good commuter IN TOWN ONLY or even going in the country for short 15 mile or shorter trips, although flooring it wide open throttle doing 55 mph for say 30-40 miles being that long and air cooled might overheat the engine, even for a HONDA?

I wouldn't be too worried about overheating it - Honda Motorcycle has lots of experiance with aircooled engines (admittedly, mostly in the past, but they do know their thermodynamics).

agree,  Honda knows their air cooled engines, although more so are liquid cooled.  I was just thinking back to the 150cc air cooled scooter I test drove being junker China garbage in the 90+ degree heat way, way back 15 or so years ago local dealer selling them for say 1 grand new.  I drove it 10 miles in that heat floored doing 55-60 mph tops in the country and sure smelt like burning engine overheating when I got back returning it to them, engine/plastic felt and smelled like it was burning HOT.    I do not have that issue in my Kymco scoot made in Taiwan being 250cc and liquid cooled.  Even been told Kymco way, way back made engines for Honda small engines.

I would love to find one of those old trail 50's for my grand daughter.

The Monkey is cool.

But I wouldn't consider putting a small kid on it.

You could put a kid on the old Trail 50's almost as soon as they learned to ride a bicycle.

You can still get trail 50s and trail 70s on ebay for $1,000 or $1,500, I see some on there now.
There's a rilly nice one for $5,500 :-) ...

You may remember when you and me and Jess and Highbinder went on that West Virginia
ride some time back that near the end, when it started raining on us, we passed a place with
about ten trail 70s out in the yard for sale...

I remember the ride but I don't remember the place with the bikes.

There are some out there, most are  just a little rich for my blood.

She's only 3, so I have a little while to find one.

Man, you guys have better memories than me.

But you are younger than me.

I do remember some WVa rides with rain. (everyone turning around on the mountain, in the mud and rain)

What I remember, growing up, was that I got big cardboard boxes to pay in (and a Schwin).  But later, my younger brother got a Trail 70 to ride all over creation.

My grandfather sold appliances. I have played many an hour in boxes . Us kids would get inside and roll the boxes on there corners,  thought we had bulldozers and would run into each other.

I have recently picked up a Mini Trail for the grandkids .... or is it for me Wink. I am upping it to 70cc. Though the china clone engines in 125 will bolt right in hmmmm .
