Someone gave us a Cracker Barrel gift card for Christmas and so finally It was the right day to go to breakfast after church. No rain forecasted today and the sun was coming out as we rode to church with no jacket or any rain gear. A perfect day for it to be raining when we got out of church. Lol. Well it was lightning raining and the roads weren’t wet yet so we continued with our plans to stop for breakfast. Raining as we walked in. Raining as we sat down.

Now that we’re just about done. The rain has moved on and the parking lot is dry. So, what’s a little rain?

It’s fun to watch all the double takes as people park near the Valkyrie

They have good bacon  cooldude

You have to ask for plenty of grits, or they come in a little thimble sized bowl...

I was cold and hungry last time I was there, I finished my cup of coffee sitting
on the hearth of the awesome fireplace.

Do they even bother to throw logs on the fire at Cracker Barrel in Florida?

Yes Mike, a nice roaring fire in the fireplace. It's cold here in the winter.  Angry  Grin

I always wanted to lay naked on a bearskin rug in front of the fireplace....

...evidently Cracker Barrel has a strict policy against this.

How is that thought removed from the mind other than suicide.  crazy2 crazy2

Cracker Barrel is not one of my go to places , but when Tailgate Tommy and I were returning from Virginia , there was one by the hotel.  I will give credit where it is due.  The chicken and dumplings were the closest to what mom made.  No one has mom's recipe , but they were very close.  smitten smitten

Cracker Barrel

We have very few in my area, but when riding to Roanoke with Brad, Mark and Mike from BC we certainly had our share of Lemonade at the Barrel!  Great Memories.

Mine only has about 40K miles and it's not nearly that clean. Beautiful machine, BTW - Mine would look that good if I took the time to wash it....

Jeff,

Must be from your clean living and pure thoughts...? I, on the other hand, haven't been out of luck either! I've managed to dodge a few drops myself... but at least I had a jacket and rain suit with me!!! Man, you really roll the dice sometimes... Glad you got away with it.

Mike. Mine has been quite muddy at Cheaha. But you would win the bet. Don’t think I have ever cleaned the Sahara desert out from behind my center cover
