Who's the best?

Although I am currently unable to ride, I have a (new to me) Valkyrie sitting in my shop. 
While I have a fairly large selection of bling from my crashed bike to include bags, rails and other items, I'm thinking my long distance riding days are done.   Those items will probably not go onto the Standard I have now.

With that said, I'm considering going a different path and build a real power cruising bar hopper.  Something with gobs of power and less show and more go.

Already considering Attic Rat's performance up grade but, that may not be the only option so, I thought I'd ask.    If you were building a bad ass Valkyrie, what would you do and who would you recommend to do it.   While I claim to be a wrench turner, I am no real mechanic or performance specialist.  So I'm looking for options.    Who and what?

Here is my line of thinking and the order I would pursue:

1) Find someone that can dial in a hidden nitrous setup.  Keep the bike smooth running with normal fuel mileage but have power on demand.   Most bang for the buck with the least changes to the bike.   Lot of information on nitrous setups, even on motorcycles, and people with experience using it.    I used it on a muscle car I had and talking about a hell of kick!   I was getting 175hp boost at the press of a button.    I suspect about a 30-40 hp boost on a stock Valkyrie would be about the most I would push it.

2) Attic Rat's performance work.    While more expensive than the nitrous setup the bike will exhibit more power and better fuel mileage without drastically changing the original configuration of the bike.   No need to have to refill a nitrous tank.

3) Turbo: Even more expensive but more power than AR's mods.    Can dial in enough power to explode the motor if you want (same with the nitrous).    Can open a waste gate to reduce its impact on fuel mileage but close it down to increase power on demand (boost).  Has a novelty coolness factor about it.   Very few that have done it.

4)  Blower: Equal too or most expensive of the bunch.   Lots of good power and has a coolness factor about it too.   Lots of dialing in to avoid surging and very few that have done it and can advise you on what to do.    Is always on so fuel mileage is drastically impacted all the time, 30+% less from different posts and articles I've read.

The attic rat looks like a real option that does not compromise reliability from something like a blower that really should have some sort of intercooling before that compressed/heated fuel charge hits the cylinders, unless you run 104 octane.
Seems to me that the 10-15 extra ponies from the attic rat mod would be more than enough seat of the pants satisfaction, with the added benefit of having him tweak everything else to better than new condition.

Attic Rat GLH package and strip it down and make it as light possible that would be the way to go in my opinion..

Just go ahead and take yours too! You're not riding it now anyway and the Attic Rat work will just be a good starting point for a horsepower junkie like you. I vote turbo since I'm spending your money.

If you're beefing up your regular ride Attic Rat is likely your choice.

If you're setting up a secondary ride for speed and shock only, the nitrous bottle is the correct path.

I sure you already know there is no cost effective way to do this, it makes no financial sense, and you will never recover the cost. 

With that said.

Attic Rat + bore job (+150 to 200 cc) and custom pistons/rings and better cams is my recommendation.
After that the carbs may need additional air flow and the clutch may need an upgrade. Best guess +40 HP. But it will still be reliable, smooth and a fast 1st gen Valkyrie.

All of this is expensive but doable, but you may still not get the performance of a new performance bike.

It's cheaper to get a ZX14 Concours for the wow factor. 0-100 before 3rd gear and it doesn't take long. Keep a classic Valk stock PLEASE!!

Advice is noted.    With advice like that I'm liable to end up with two homes and both requiring upgrades.  . Bob has a back log of several months worth of bikes.   I hope to be on my Valkyrie this summer.

Noted.    Don't really expect to recover the cost of such upgrades.   You never get that money back so you better plan on the ROI being more smiles per gallon.  . But, I don't intend to build a full race bike, there's always someone faster.  

During my search for another fat lady, I found a supercharged Valkyrie in FL.   It was priced reasonably for what it was but, the more mechanics I spoke with that refused to even consider working on it convinced me not to go that direction.   So, even though I said a turbo or blower were options, I doubt I would go that path.    I am interested in the Attic Rat upgrade with nitros though but will have to discuss with Bob.   As previously noted, I do turn wrenches often, the end result is normally something broken.   It is what it is, a mechanic I am not.

Ignoring the actual question and responding to only the header the correct answer would be ME!  I AM THE BEST!  In vague response to your actual questions I drove a Miata that had 2 donut spares on the rear. It didn't have any power upgrades but man that was fun. I could light up the tires shifting in to 3rd.   Sometimes it not raw power you're after it's perceived power. Eliminating traction on the drive axle does exactly that makes it feel so powerful you can't control it. My vote is Use armor all on the tires. Just don't get hurt doing it
