Last night was part 1 of “Presidents at War”. Part 2 tonight. I thought it was pretty good, I learned some stuff I didn’t know. Looking forward to the rest tonight.

It was pretty good, with a focus on these particular presidents in the context of WWII.  And I learned some things.  But while the basic narration and a few commentators were very good, a whole pile of the supposed academic guest commentators were just idiots with stupid, irrelevant or wrong opinions.  Good objectivity was spoiled by some ridiculous cheer leading and spin.

Most of the 30-40 commentators dropped in for one minute opinion pieces, detract from don't improve the program.
