To Laura Logan. She has been in the thick of things reporting on the Middle East and other hot spots for years. You may remember she was attacked while on assignment and they were ripping her clothes off in the streets.

She just said in an interview that the media has lost all credibility with its one sided reporting and that even the pretense of fairness is gone. Most of us have seen and believed this for years but when a respected member of the business speaks out its notable. I think most of the people in the media business closed ranks when Trump called them out and started using the fake news term. I'm hoping Laura's admission, claim will cause others in her profession to step forward and not be a part of the lie.

No. She said the following.

Visually, anyone who's ever been to Israel and been to the Wailing Wall has seen that the women have this tiny little spot in front of the wall to pray, and the rest of the wall is for the men. To me, that's a great representation of the American media, is that in this tiny little corner where the women pray you've got Breitbart and Fox News and a few others, and from there on, you have CBS, ABC, NBC, Huffington Post, Politico, whatever, right? All of them. And that's a problem for me, because even if it was reversed, if it was vastly mostly on the right, that would also be a problem for me.

My experience has been that the more opinions you have, the more ways that you look at everything in life — everything in life is complicated, everything is gray, right? Nothing is black and white.

That tells me pretty much all I need to know about her views...

It probably isn't important to know who owns the media as it is to be able to discern when you are being fed a load of horseshit. That is a full time job these days, sometimes it takes weeks and months to get the whole story and still will have quite a bit of tarnish to rub off.
