why are children being vaccinated for a non-life threatening sickness?

"He was completely vaccinated," Pirutinsky said. "So it was a surprise to us he came down with mumps."

Anyone fully vaccinated from mumps receives two doses of the vaccine, according to the CDC. Of the New Jersey cases, 77 percent were vaccinated, Terjesen said.

But the vaccine is not 100 percent effective, according to the CDC. At two doses, the vaccine is 76 to 95 percent effective, the CDC says on its Web site.
http://edition.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/02/08/mumps.outbreak.northeast/index.html

The CDC claims the mumps vaccine is 76 to 95 percent effective, but they offer no scientific evidence whatsoever to support that claim. To date, there has never been a randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled study published on the mumps vaccine in humans. The so-called "scientific" evidence supporting these vaccines is purely imaginary.

Vaccines do not offer the level of protection against infectious disease that they promise. In fact, vaccines are far less effective than vitamin D in preventing infections!

Instead of shooting up our children with over 100 different vaccines (which is now standard practice, by the way), what we should be doing is boosting their immune function with vitamin D, zinc and immune-boosting nutrients from medicinal plants. That would protect them from all common infectious diseases at the same time, and it doesn't require needles or the use of dangerous chemical preservatives like thimerosal, which is linked to autism.

why are children being vaccinated for a non-life threatening sickness?

This:

https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/parents/diseases/child/mumps.html

"What is mumps?
Mumps is a contagious disease caused by a virus. It spreads easily through coughing and sneezing. There is no treatment for mumps, and it can cause long-term health problems.

What are the symptoms of mumps?
Mumps usually causes the following symptoms for about 7 to 10 days:

Fever
Headache
Muscle aches
Tiredness
Loss of appetite (not wanting to eat)
Swollen glands under the ears or jaw
Some people who get mumps do not have symptoms. Others may feel sick but will not have swollen glands.

Is it serious?
In most children, mumps is pretty mild. But it can cause serious, lasting problems, including:

Meningitis (swelling of the tissue covering the brain and spinal cord)
Deafness (temporary or permanent)
Encephalitis (swelling of the brain)
Orchitis (swelling of the testicles) in males who have reached puberty
Oophoritis (swelling of the ovaries) and/or mastitis (swelling of the breasts) in females who have reached puberty
In rare cases, mumps is deadly.

How does mumps spread?
Mumps can spread through the saliva or mucus from the mouth, nose, or throat of an infected person when he or she:

coughs, sneezes, or talks.
shares items, such as cups or eating utensils, with others.
touches objects or surfaces with unwashed hands that are then touched by others.
Mumps can spread before swollen glands appear and up to 5 days afterward."

Quote over.

Just curious AKA CA, are you a medical expert or you just offering free bad advice concerning vaccinations?

If you step on a rusty nail today and it passes through your foot will you just eat some Vitamin D or will you go get a tetanus shot?

why did u not separate the conditions of mild and serious?
all of those serious conditions have been documented to happen After puberty.    This is why a child should get the mumps early naturally. Scientifically it has been proven that getting it gives life time immunity. Getting a vaccination shot does not provide lifetime immunity.  the vac shots usually only provide 3-6 months protection. if u read enough u will find this out.
so what do we have high cases of in colleges the last few yrs, Meningitis. so the drug cartel offers vac shots for that also. Do u see the pattern?  the child didn't get lifetime immunity as a child and then gets much sicker later in life after catching the mumps which results in meningitis. but don't worry they have  a shot for that also.

personal first hand experience, there was a young engineer, two yrs out of school, working in my office a few yrs ago who came down with the mumps, yet she was vaccinated for it when she was a child. Of course the doctor was very concerned and was aggressive with her treatment. they told her all of the serious conditions it could have led to. there are 1ks of reports out there of same happening plus all of the meningitis cases.

Please...make this about the border, not about who is right or wrong Re: vaccinations.
Every day there is ?"evidence"? for both side of this argument...wading through truth and heaping piles of vaccination bullshit will never solve what is going on down there at the border, and it seems like Republican Senators are going to act like a bunch of RINO's and vote against Trump!!!
Now that would be something to be pissed about.

That woman Ingraham on FOX stated a few months back that we could see a resurgence of diseases we've just about erradicated and she was DESTROYED in the media for saying it.  I'm sure the apologies will be coming soon.

Because it's a direct quote from the linked source. The CDC.GOV. Ever heard of them? I'll stick with their medical advice over your office friend experience advice.

And now just a statement here from me. I never can tell with all your random subject posts with all the poor grammar and lack of punctuation's if the posts are your thoughts and random links or copy paste stuff you're just flooding us all with here on the board. I guess it's all your thoughts since I don't ever see any quotation marks just links taking us who knows where.

I'm positive I haven't read a ride report from you ever that I remember. Got any good ride reports?

Carry on, all "good" info.
