Good news for the US in that this has been stopped after the Clinton and Obama administrations were going ahead with it. It would effectively make US citizens responsible to an international court and put international police in the US to capture and arrest US citizens over US law. Striking down US sovereignty in this area and putting US troops at the mercy of international courts for war crimes.

We are truly stepping back from the edge of the one world government and loosing the US as we know it. But of course its not completely stopped since AOC said illegal immigrants are her constituents.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States will revoke or deny visas to International Criminal Court personnel seeking to investigate alleged war crimes and other abuses committed by U.S. forces in Afghanistan or elsewhere, and may do the same with those who seek action against Israel, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Friday.

Pompeo, acting on a threat delivered in September by U.S. national security adviser John Bolton, framed the action as necessary to prevent the international body from infringing on U.S. sovereignty by prosecuting American forces or allies for torture or other war crimes.

This is certainly a national sovereignty issue.  (And it must never be abandoned)

But more than that, it is the protection that our armed service members need, expect and deserve.

It's not like we don't police our own, we do.

We do not need some Dudley DoRight (or a whole organizaion of them) second guessing (or outright interfering with) our command policy, rules of engagement, or individual initiative of hard charging combat personnel.

(No offense intended to our RCMP cartoon buddy.)
