Bout 112 miles Saturday.   Got in about 60 miles before hands got to cold. I have 40 below snow mobile gloves. Maybe they do not work on a motorcycle.

I rode from home to McConnels, SC to visit Nance Tractor's to get some parts for my MF 1250 tractor.  60's all the way, about 130 miles round trip.  Great day to ride.

good to see people riding, and for a good cause as well.

participating in any PGR is worth getting into the wind

Thank you for your service to our country and PGR Dennis

Dennis,

Nope, not quite yet, but oh so tantalizingly close! I'm partially engaging in 'ride foreplay', building the anticipation of that first post-op ride! I'm also allowing Kegel to work a little more magic before I head out into 'less available facilities' territory. And, then there is the ol' temperature effect. With my 'shrunken' condition, having to wear chaps holds the potential of making 'discharge', an already unpleasant experience, even more so... not to mention far more challenging! Soon, though... really soon!

Say, that stretch of road you mentioned along MO 38 sounds interesting! Are there any good BBQ restaurants in that area, too? If Jerry and I do get to make our 'big ride', maybe we could swing through that area and check that out... perhaps with you as a guide... and maybe dine on some fine swine in the process... Or not... It would be good to see ya, though, so maybe some meet-up opportunity might be possible...

In the meantime, it's good to see you're still out there doing what we all love to do! I agree with Oss, thanks for the important work you do with PGR... and for your 'continuing service'... And, thanks for posting ride reports... Always interesting to read what others are doing.

Bruce when you leave Houston Mo. on Mo.17 and hit Mo.38 W it is in Fact a lot of farm and ranch country up there. But I have heard good reviews of a BBQ place in West Plains Mo. although I have yet to try it-BBQ west Plains. I do however have a nice fish fry on Friday nights right here in Willow Springs that I have tried and a decent Mexican place also in W S both of which I've eaten at a bunch! Also a BBQ joint here in W S which friends and neighbors have mentioned to me Not to waste my time or money at.  Lips Sealed IF you figure on rollin thru my neck of da woods give me a bit of a heads up case i have a P G R mission i need to change. Yup-kinda partial to where i reside!  cooldude Hope ya git yer knees back in da breeze-SOON!  coolsmiley RIDE SAFE.

hoping for Saturday being first time in 2019,  high of 60 and sunny for ONCE!

snow tires off 2 of 3 vehicles,  replacing oil pressure oxygen sensor switch that has a very slow oil leak out of it,  fixing door handle coming loose on another car,  changing oil on truck LONG overdue,  replacing bathtub drain so wife can take a bath,  are all things I should be doing first though.  Will see what pans out on Saturday.

I envy those retired able to get things done having all of Monday thru Sunday and then if not wanting to do them,  have Monday thru Sunday to go riding if the urge arises... Cry   ONLY 25 more years to go to retire, but am sure will be dead before then.   Undecided

No I did not ride today, although I could have... in Michigan!! Beautiful sunny, reasonably mild, bike riding weather this week up in the Farmington region. Was expecting a lot cooler end of Winter weather when I booked this work trip a month or so ago... a pleasent surprise. Haven't really seen any bikes out here the past couple days though...
This coming weekend is looking pretty good back home, so looking forward to my first "real" ride of the year when I get home

saw my first cycle (HD) out 2 days ago high of 45 or so and sunny coming home in afternoon.  Guy thought he was invincible zipp splatting weaving in/out of traffic changing lanes in front of car after car no turn signals nor looking (except maybe side mirror).  But hey,  who cares,  he was cool looking dressed in HD leather attire right totally Bad -ss!... Roll Eyes     Saw another cycle same time coming home tonight high of 48.  It is comin soon FINALLY!!!!   cooldude

biggest issue I have is 7 a.m. is still below 32 degrees out and ice spots on what was water on roads, too cold for me and too dangerous morning commute...     Maybe I can change my hours work from 10-6 ????  Roll Eyes

Anyone else notice around 7 to 7:30 a.m. (give or take) in the morning when the sun rises up is very blinding just over the horizon, enough so to not see in front for traffic/cars?  Was like that today very bright and darn right annoying unable to see since the vehicles sun visors do not go down that low to block any of the blinding sun just over the horizon.

I had to wait a bit cuz of the brine left behind due to our recent freeze thaw cycles we had here in The Ozarks. Took me far longer than it should have to remove the branches in the back yard the ice storm(s) claimed. BUT fer now anywho we appear on the surface at least to be heading to warmer weather. And in my neck of da woods Spring officially starts here at 1658 hours local today. Just this past Sunday we were at zackly 12 hours of daylight and I believe it showed 12 hrs 7 mins for todays daylight. Soooooooooo looks like to me at least things be improving and on a definite upward trend fer lotsa folks ta git knees back in da breeze!  cooldude I KNOW how Good i felt after my ride(s) and i just KNOW others here are WANTING that Same FEELING-mind flush as it were.  coolsmiley And as Difficult as it may be try try try to hold it down a bit on that first ride.  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

Jack,  you definitely have tons more snow left around the roads up there vs. down south.  Pretty much all snow is gone down here besides in the woods and piled up snow banks in areas.  Glad you got out.  Just checked forecast for this Saturday and 2 days ago said 60 for high NOW only suppose to be 52 degrees....... tickedoff
