While they're not quite as bad as the drunken sailors spending other people's money as the left, it's still inexcusable. The entire federal government, and thus budget, needs to be drastically slashed back to the core components of what the federal government is authorized to do under the Constitution, and no more. Let's talk about the dems green new deal or medicare for all or free college tuition. Not to mention taxing the rich 70+ precent. What do you think that would do to the economy? |

For better or worse, POTUS does NOT have line item veto power. This has both good and bad .
I think we can't afford the "Green New Deal", and even if we could, I'm not so sure it would be good for those of us approaching or beyond retirement age.
