A couple months ago, the house next door sold. We had no word on who purchased it, and were obviously hoping it would be someone that would make a good next door neighbour. Well, a few weeks ago Paul and Terry moved in. I was working in the garage with the doors open when the moving truck showed up. A good feeling came over me when immediately following the truck came first a beautiful all Black 2017 V-Max, then a new Tacoma pulling a fishing boat. Great...another riding buddy and fishing buddy... my two favorite passions!! When I introduced myself to them later that day, I also learned Paul is a guitar player of note (I'm one too... but definitely NOT of note Smiley) and also an avid hunter who loads all of his own ammo (I'm a newby gun owner, just getting into shooting and eventually bird hunting). He also works from home, as do I for a couple days a week when I'm not travelling.

Ever had someone move in next door that seems like they could be the perfect neighbour? I was joking to the Mrs before they moved in that I was hoping the guy would be either a motorcyclist or fisherman...it appears as if my hopes have been exceeded. Gee, hopefully he likes me  Grin

Heading out with Paul for a a late afternoon ride in a bit cooldude

best neighbors are ones who keep to themselves not needing you nearly every single weekend to do stuff for them.... cooldude

My ex-neighbor moved to yuppie vil and he still bugs me like last night he texts me asking ME what size patio should I get done in concrete in his new house he built.   Like I give a _rap make it 10x10 or 12x16 see if I care, NOT my money.....   Anything I EVER have told him he does just the opposite anyways and never listens to me then comes back weeks or months later telling me he should have listened to me.  duh!   uglystupid2

Enjoy your new neighbors hope it all works out but do not attempt to outrun the Vmax,  doubt you can.

Wow, talk about a beauty and the beast.
It may be faster but, not nearly as classy.    Yeah, I know, opinions are like........

not as classy, but surely sexier!  That newer blacked out vmax is one sweet looking ride would love to test ride one for the giggle and grin factor.  Your new neighbor has very good tastes in bikes.

I've always liked the V-Max. One thing I've always appreciated about it other than it's sheer power is that it's different from the norm... just like the Valk

Beautiful bike(s).

Dream garage: Interstate (or Wing Wink) for touring, VMAX for fun, Africa Twin for adventure.

1 outta 3 ain’t bad, I guess.  Grin

Looks nice. At least you'll show Paul where not to speed, and some other local rides. Is he from the LML or moved in from somewhere else?

also learned Paul is a guitar player of note (I'm one too... but definitely NOT of note Smiley) and also an avid hunter who loads all of his own ammo (I'm a newby gun owner, just getting into shooting and eventually bird hunting). Why haven't we been graced with any of your guitar playing at our Valhalla Rallies? I'm sure I could make room in my trailer. Just some lite strumming as background noise. You don't need to feel you have to put on a concert/karaoke, just some nice tunes.

I was going to check with you to see if you had completed your course and gotten your bear protection yet. Also there was the annual HACS show last weekend in Chilliwack. I didn't want to go as it was so hard not to buy something when I saw it, last year when I was there with Tess.
