The time is approaching,

Hillbilly Highway Ride will be in Pikeville KY at the same location as previous years

Friday May 24th - Sunday May 26th

I just called and talked to the motel, they have rooms available for memorial day weekend. Anyone who booked there room last year might give them a call to make sure your room is still reserved, as they utilize the none computerized scheduling notebook. The motel is not the classiest, but they have done a great job accommodating our group the past 2 years

FYI,
Joe and I have discussed moving this ride to a different location next year, so stay tuned and hold off on booking for 2020.

If all works out well for Bruce and I, DDT and I will already be a couple of weeks into our northwesterly meander towards Taos, NM when this Hilbilly Ride comes up.  I will be there for the next one in 2020!

I have missed every one of the Hilbilly rides so far and I hate that!  That will change next year.

I am headed down East from this ride for a quiet run down to FL and then the Gulf Coast to TX and Taos.  Did the NW last summer, leaves the South for this year.

Trish and I have talked ourselves out of going to Rolling Thunder and will be at this ride again on Friday night.  Riding in the mountains with our Valkyrie friends just sounds so much better than sitting in a parking lot for 5 hours with temps in the high 80s.

get the "welcome" recording, "if you know your room number you can dial that now, otherwise
dial 0 for the front desk"... it always goes to a busy signal after I dial 0.

I'm not sure if I have a room or not... but I am sure now that I need to not go...
