Tomorrow's weather is looking good for a kickoff ride for the new season!
I'm excited to hit the road and putting a few miles on my bike.  Frankly it's a little embarrassing to admit I have a 98 with only 4300 miles on it!

Sounds like it's time to get out there and finish the break-in on it then! She's waiting to be ridden........

Lol oddly while the bike was ignored most of its live the oil was changed annually.  it's almost time for me to change it again as I have almost owned it for a year as well. Actually the oil was changed three times last year due to a bad pet rooster,  I wish it was due excessive mileage!

Non taken the truth is if it were driven  an average number of miles per year it would still be on it first maybe second oil change!  Instead the oil has been change at least 17-20 times with less the 4500 miles on it.  Sad it what it is!

Anyway today was great took a ride this morning with a buddy he rides a Harley but I don't hold it against him.
Then I met OSS for the first time and took  similar ride.  I only put about 150 miles on the bike today but I enjoyed every minute!

OSS thanks for reaching out it was a pleasure meeting and riding with you I hope there will be more opportunities  in  the future!

I have only owned it for less then a year,  I hope to use it a bit this year last year I had some health issues that keep me off the bike for a bit of the season.  Dizzy spells are scary enough without being on a bike sadly they can return at any time for the rest of my life not much I can about it but hope for the best.  I usually get warning signs letting me know a day or two being it gets bad !

Vertigo?   Have had spells of that myself, pretty scary at 80 mph when it hits. Luckily That only happened once and was on a straight stretch of interstate when it happened.

Similar but vestibular migraines.  My mother has suffered with regular migraines as long as I can remember,  it turns out that my oldest sister suffers from the same thing I do and my middle sister has had ocular migraines.  I blame e my mother.  There is no treatment nor is there a medicine to stop it.  The Las time I had them was several mo ths ago I was give. Steroids and it seemed to break it fairly quickly I'm hoping it will help in the future!

Thank you but I don't worry much about this it is not life threatening just very uncomfortable when it happens.
In the meantime I'm looking forward to more fun rides as we had into Spring.

took a shot of my good side I see   cooldude

When I just called my mother in law to wish her a happy anniversary she said she remembers you as a 1st grader

Said you were a good boy and thought you had dirty blonde hair

Pretty amazing as she is 80 now and retired over 25 years.

You never know who you will meet   Cool

I took the bike to work last Wednesday for  a shake down ride. Felt great to be on the bike. Still waiting for a nice Sunday to get the group out for a ride. Soon hopefully. Summer is just ahead.

Lol yes I was a very small kid with light blonde hair that got darker as I got older.
I was in her class the second year she taught in that school.  I could be off a year but I'm thinking 1972, not sure where the time has gone.  I do remember her being a very nice teacher frankly not all of them were but I have fond memories.  Please send her my regards Smiley
