On my ride home yesterday I got hit by a grasshopper. His accuracy was uncanny. He managed to weave his way into a 1” window between my fairing, visor, and sunglasses. It got me thinking that maybe he was of the Japanese variety. Or maybe just a distant cousin of the kamikazes.

He was part of the Rebel Alliance.

We are coming into love bug season down here. Be happy you don't have them, their guts will eat through the paint if you leave it for a while. Angry

Went for a short ride the other day, 43° snow in the ditches but sunny, When I got home I noticed several bugs had committed suicide on my windshield,  tickedoff They were unrecognizable, buy I figure they were either snow bugs or winter weevils.   Cheesy Won,t be long now and we can ride all day here!  cooldude

So no ethnicity, but a political agenda ? Bugs are definitely advancing I guess. Although it doesn't seem too flattering to know it only takes a grasshopper size brain to be conservative.  Wink

A rock has no brain but get one in your shoe and it will soon have your attention. It’s really not a matter of size anyway, it’s the amount of brain you can access. I’ll leave it to you to decide what I may think of the liberal brains being put on display of late. I know some grasshoppers migrate so l would have to just assume it’s a North American grasshopper.

Sized.  Be careful of your grammar when ridiculing brain sizes.   Wink

To correct to the correction, it should be "grasshopper-sized", with the hyphen.  police  Evil

No ridiculing going down. Just pointing out John’s unflattering opinion of “conservatives”.  Wink

He may be a cousin of the wasp that found it's way into my modular helmet through a 1/8" opening.
