Corbin IS seat question
«
on:

Did Corbin ever make the two up one piece Interstate seat with a 5/8” x 5/8” slot for the passenger to use a Corbin back rest, my thought is when two up and the trunk is off the bike.

I had one of those concrete blocks on one interstate when I bought it. (Sold)
It had no slot in back of the
dual tour
.
I doubt if any did, but you could call Corbin and try to find out, or if they can retrofit one to your seat.
I suppose it might be possible to fab up a mount to the rear seat bolt that wraps around the rear of the seat, and holds a small pad.

Wouldnt it be putting too much pressure on the fender ?

No, as the stock Corbin (two piece) has this option for Standard/Tourer.

Well, any seat that has a built in slot is reinforced inside the seat slot itself (so the stress is spread over the whole rear seat). If you fabbed a mount to the rear seat bolt alone, it could stress the fender at the bolt (unless you put a plate or something down there to spread out the stress of someone's back on the backrest).
