The final Doolittle Raider has now left us to eternally ponder the absolute courage of 80 volunteers who flew what they believed to be a suicide mission in the early days of WWII.  May he and all of his brothers rest well and honorably in peace. angel

            We keep losing Very Important parts of our living history. Seems as it were just a week or so ago i watched a special on the Doolittle Raiders. May They All Forever Rest in Peace. Very Special Men and Machines rising to the Mission. RIDE SAFE.

There is a movie that came out couple yrs ago called "Last Man Club"     Story of a retired military man who before he goes to a retirement home wants to go cross country and find the remaining members of his WW2 B17 crew and propose a toast to the ones already passed on.    It's a fairly good movie.    My 87 yr old uncle went down and applied for a bit part in the movie and got it.   He had a really good time doing the movie.   His name is in the credits as "Hi Bice"

May I add a footnote. His son , Sambo, whom I have known for 35 years passed away 2 days after his father. RIP. Sambo and Mr. Richard Cole.
