Rear Speaker wire colors + and - ??

I picked up a rear speaker connector for a GL1800 from Electrical Connection which does fit my 2000 Valkyrie Interstate.  I downloaded a manual from online but the wiring diagram is fuzzy and I cannot read it.   

Does anyone know what color speaker wires match for the right and left speakers of the rear speaker wiring plug located under the right side body panel?  I need to match up + and - on the GL1800 harness for each side?

The reason I'm asking is that I plugged the connector in, ran the wiring back to the rear speakers and they are scratchy and barely audible when the fader is set fully to the rear and the volume is cranked up.  I'm guessing there is a polarity mismatch or wires crossed because this connector, although it mates up perfectly, was not matched to this bike.  I need to check everything to see if the wires and polarity match up correctly.
