That song brings back memories of Christmas at my cousins'.  In that family there was an older teenage girl, a girl in grade 7 or 8, a little younger than me, who was my favourite cousin at the time, and a younger brother.  The older girl gave her sister a number of albums or 45s, and got a few herself.  The songs I remember listening to in their basement in Saskatoon that Christmas were:

Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure
Foreigner - Urgent
Chilliwack - My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone)
Bob & Doug McKenzie - Great White North (the whole album)
I seem to recall hearing a lot of Police as well

There was certainly a freighter-load of awesome music in the early 80s.  I don't include Bob & Doug McKenzie in that category, but they were certainly fun!

Does anyone remember the old 'Musical Selection of the Evening' posts on this board.  They were awesome.  I just searched and was happy to see many are still available.
