Just moved to Gaineville this year. I figured I would check out the Leesburg Bikefest.
I gotta say, for such a small town like Leesburg, they sure do go all out! I couldn't beleive how much of the downtown they committed to the weekend.
Although tamer than Daytona, the entertainment was good, and I found quite a few thing to check out. I'm not sure if I'll be living in Gainesville next year, but I'll definately make the time to come back
If at first you don't succeed, then perhaps skydiving isn't for you

;) Afternoon, I haven't been myself but a little further to ride than Gville. Go Gators! :smitten: But nice to know what your take was on the WingDing! I'll have to get there. Thx,  :coolsmiley:

I was there Saturday and enjoyed it, specially since it was not as hot as last year.
A lot is packed in that small town with vendors taking over the street just north of Main Street.
Friends wanted to stop by Gator Harley so we did and spent some time there as well, lots of bikes and vendors there as well.

I did see a a few Valks but no one I knew except for one guy that was riding a unique green army Valk riding down Main Street   :coolsmiley: ;)

All in all it was a great day  :cooldude:

We spent the weekend there. Weather was great, nice rides up around the lakes, enjoyed seeing the semi trucks parade through. Did run into a few people from the group, also saw that green bike run down Main Street, but never saw it parked. I always enjoy it more than Daytona, smaller and you can tell the city wants us there. Picked up pamphlets for the blue ridge run in September, going to try and make that happen. It's been 28 years since I've been there.
The light at the end of the tunnel, is a train.

Glad you all enjoyed the temps, been there twice and it was hotter than hades both times. Me, working on the IS all that day and it is nice to use these temps for wrenching as well.

I was there on Saturday with our HCMA (Hunters Creek Motorcycle Association) group for our monthly long ride.  I was on my 94 Goldwing Trike though.  My Valk needs front fork seals.  I was only able to stay for a few hours though.  The bike contest entries are always interesting to see.  The amount of time and money that goes into some of those creations are crazy!  I missed seeing Paul Sr.  Sorry I missed you, Jack.

Lol... Good eye jack, I was only able to stay there a little over an hour that morning, I wish I could have stayed longer, the weather was excellent that day. Did spot three valks but no one I know.
