Looking into heated grips, and looking at the Oxford Cruiser Grips and noticed that the thick wire rotates with the throttle grip. Has Anyone here used this one or a similar product. I wonder about all that wire interfering with smooth throttle action??

Mine moves, don't know the brand. I gave my sister in Gibson AB my heated grips I bought (I think they where Oxfords), since my bike already had ones installed.

I suppose that puts here more than 4 hrs from you. I could check with her to see if she might be doing anything with them (she's just split with her husband).

Hey thanks much for the offer, but my sons are gifting me a set for my birthday and considering the weather forecast for May around the Calgary area...gonna need them.
BTW, I think you mean Gibbons AB...my wife has lots of family there.

3 bikes later and my oxford grips are starting to break down, 9 years and lots of use so I guess that is an OK life

Top heat is very hot.... I always fit a relay to drop power when the key is off, it has an auto off feature but I know of a few cases of it not turning off and dead batteries
