from use on my 9 inch Klein lineman/electrician pliers. I have 2 pair of these Klein's and I just happened to have the ones with the light blue plastic grips in the house for a project. There was black gunch/crud/dirt on both handles. Just on a hunch I grabbed the Klein pliers went into the kitchen put 2 or 3 drops of Dawn dish detergent on a paper towel and commenced to scrubbing on the handles. In a few minutes I had 90% of 45 + years of crud scrubbed off those handles. I took an old tooth brush and now have over 99% of the crud off. The bit this is left is Really there! I've got more tools with plastic handles that Will receive the Dawn clean up treatment. I Know they save oil soaked wild life with Dawn and now i/we Know it will clean up old tools!  :cooldude: How kewl is dat? RIDE SAFE.

Works good to cleanup motorcycles when there is any oily base in the dirt mix also.

Cuts right thru that Guard Dog moly I use. I also have a front white wall tire on Phatt Ghurl. Flexible stiff scrub brush and Dawn cleans them up quickly. On the mag wheels on the cage cleans up the brake dust nicely. Good Stuff Dawn dish detergent. RIDE SAFE.
