Dangit..... I really need to make it up there (If for nothing else then to interrogate you, er, talk to you and inquire about your recent dietary changes, just out of curiosity) but I'm already tied up with a ren faire/Scotch tasting/gun event that weekend (It's a long story).....

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

Sounds yummy but do you do the 'gun event' thing before or after the 'Scotch' tasting thing  :coolsmiley:

This is a thing not at ren faire, but with friends I've met there... The order of events will go something like dinner, drinks, sleep, breakfast, shooting, lunch, shooting, dinner, drinks, more drinks, sleep, breakfast and parting glass...

So yes, the gun thing will most definitely be done BEFORE the scotch thing...

Changing the date to undetermined as I don't see this growing a lot of moss.

Somewhat meandering route up 377 through Madill and Ada?  Meetup at Prairie House, 380 & Naylor?  0845-0900?  About 175 miles.

SuperSlab back to Denton is 323 miles.  Reverse route back is about 350 miles (there's a DQ in Tishomingo ).  Chickasha, Duncan, Bowie, to 380 in Decatur to Prairie House totals about 390 miles.

If ya wanta stop off in Tishomingo I'd rather go see "Ole Red Bar" (owned by Blake Shelton & friends).

They probably have some ice cream and stuff there

Then continue south on 377 back to Prairie Dog House ...  or whatever.

So, Breakfast at Prairie House at 7:30-8:30 then.

They do have really good breakfast.  I'm not sure I'll eat before Kendall's, though.

Recommend everyone bring water, Gatorade or something to stay hydrated.  Don't need anyone passing out tomorrow.

It was a fun day.  A bit warm, but better than not riding!

Two Interstates, a Gen II Valkyrie, a GL1800 'wing, and F6B, a ZX14, an FJR, good friends, good food, lots of fluids, DQ chocolate malt, and a couple of malted adult beverages to top off almost 400 miles of backroads.

Let's do it again, soon!

Great day for RTE!  8)

We should do this more often . . .    maybe fewer miles

Mark, Les, Gary and Steve decided to take the main frame (I-35) home.

Disco, Randal and I meandered back toward the barn via slower, less direct route stopping at DQ in Tishomingo for a little 'cool off'.

As we got to Little Elm, we agreed to delay the final leg of our trip long enough to allow a very wet, windy storm roll thru.

Only lasted about a half hour.  So after some limited, adult libation (after all, we were still bikin' it), the streets AND the bikes began to dry out we decided it was time to head home.  :)

I actually stuck with the group until Tishomingo and headed west a few miles south of there.

Tom, you were saying I would have a hard time living up to my handle on Saturday - well, I guess I came thru.

Enjoyed the food and good company. I'll let Tom post his pic of the huge sandwich he had. Some of us had to make time coming back so the bad news was that the super-slab was used. The good news was that no rain found us before getting home.
