As comfortable as the black bike has become  smitten I still find
myself wishing my hands were just a tad further back, and my elbows
just a little more bent... the black bike has 1500 Valkyrie bars on it,
I got their measurements somewhere, probably here:

handlebars  diameter:1"  height:6"  width:33" pullback:14"  center:9"  clamp-area:3" x 5"  part-number:53100-MZ0-000

I found some Flanders bars with more pullback and installed them, got done
yesterday... this morning I went out for a "first ride" to the good breakfast place,
it was closed for Mother's Day, but still I got the ride  cooldude

I drilled the bars for the registration holes for the control boxes, that was a lot
easier than I thought it would be.

For now, the wire guides are just held onto the bottoms of the windshield mounts
with double-sided tape...

My plan is to find some appropriate screws to mimic the OEM wire-guide-holders
and put the screws on the bottoms of the windshield mounts...
