Mom left our family in 1979 at the all too early age of 62, but she is our mom for all time. Thank you and a Happy Mother's Day to Blanche Virginia with all the good mothers everywhere.

I took the Valkyrie out to a local store to get three bouqets. I put them gently in a saddlebag.
I took one of them to my sister's grave (she passed in 2016 at 56, of brain cancer). Terri was a mom.
Second batch got taken to my and her mother, now 83. Margeurite loved em.
Last batch was brought home to my girl Lorraine, now 63. She is a mom. I got that best hug.
Jade and Black Valkyrie (21 yrs old) did good.

A guy called me a Ba$tard, I said in my case it's an accident of birth, in your case you're a self made man.

My mom, 90 in Nov, loves to send cards (won't do a computer or email). We talk on the phone often. I get cards from her for every holiday, birthday. (So do a lot of other people) So even though I'll call her, I am sure to send her a mom's day card (with a nice note). She called to thank me for my card. It's not like it's a lot of work, it's the remembering to send one that's tricky.

Took my Mom out of Saturday for lunch. She dislikes noisy places and crowds. By the way she is 102 and going strong. Lives alone and takes care of her flowers and pulls weeds (I go over and mow once a week this time of year).
My oldest took her Mom and me to see a water fall not far from us. I was flowing really strong on Wednesday when her and hubby walked in on Wednesday. It was dry when we walked into it yesterday. Totally dry, even the creek bed was dry. But that is normal for it. By the way the creeks name is Seldom.

My Mom is 94....gonna be 95 in August Still makes breakfast for any family wants to show up every Monday morning. Needless to say.....I'm there every Monday morning to help She and her 90 yr old husband of 20 yrs sleep upstairs every night. Doc says that's what keeps her moving so good.
