  I wanted to stop by and thank everyone here for all the help from you and this site.  Without your help I wouldn't have been able to keep my bike running all these years. 
  I've been riding for 50 years and my body has been hurting.  It's because of that that I bought a 2010 ST 1300.  A bit lighter so it's easier to move around.  Speed is OK but I doubt I'll ever ride like my younger days.
  I still have my 1999 Standard,  169,000 miles.  I broke a belt last year and lost some time until I got it running again. 
  I'll check in occasionally .

Hey Steve you will love your ST1300, it's like any other bike you will have to make it fit you.
It's a lot different then your Valk but you will enjoy it.
Stop in when your in the area.
